FAQs
Why booking is required?
The training session is free but places are limited, hence the need to book in advance.
Can I change the date I wish to attend or cancel my participation?
Yes, just email me in advance. At least 24h notice is appreciated.
What if the session is fully booked?
Please send me an email if you wished to attend and could not register. Places may have become available through cancellations. Depending on the demand, another session may be organised later this term.
How do I know if the level of instruction is right for me?
This session aims at anyone new (or practically new) to the Middle Eastern and Central Asian collections in the SOAS Library, be they undergraduate or postgraduate.
Some research tips mostly make sense to postgrads, but can be very useful to undergrads as well.
If you'd rather get help on resources for a specific topic, please arrange a 1-2-1 meeting with Dominique-Akhoun-Schwarb.
